Miles is in full recovery mode!!!
Miles had his tonsils removed on Thursday. He has handled the recovery like a trooper and continues to improve every day. We are keeping the pain meds rolling and he is enjoying the lidocaine lollipops when needed too. Lots of jello, pudding and ice cream are keeping him happy too. Our good friend, Dr. Paul Evangelisti, handled the surgery at Tuomey and we have been rehabbing here at Nana’s place along with Aunt Amy who had her total knee replacement last week. Thank you God for Miles’ handling this so well and for keeping him on the right path to total healing and the end of strep throat forever!
Here’s a picture of Miles and Dr. Paul before the surgery. He’s sitting here right now watching Captain America (3rd movie from Redbox in 3 days) and doing well. We plan to let Miles stay home with me next week as he continues to heal. Thank you for your prayers of encouragement and for healing! Way to go, Miles!!! See ya!

Happy Birthday, Miles!
Happy Birthday, Miles
Today, our oldest son, Miles Heyward Johnson, turns 14. I am so proud of the man he is becoming. It seems like only yesterday I was holding that little red rat of a baby in my hands. It goes so quick; but, it’s a fun ride.
Happy Birthday, Miles
